Would you shop here?

Hi fellow bloggers, I need some help.

I have always known that I wanted to open a store one day, and I am lucky enough to realize that the dream may come true in 2010!

However, I need some help.

I am trying to get more of a FOCUS for the store (and for business plan purposes) and need something that will make us stand out from the other gift stores on the Main Line (of which there are LOTS)

Here is my question...what would you look more for in a store?

1. The ability to deliver gifts and gift baskets fully gift wrapped?
2. The ability to be open later in the evening allowing you to pick up a gift for a hostess into the evening hours?
3. What would you rather bring your host/hostess? A gift basket of food/flowers or smaller gifts? Or all of the above?

We are trying to make sure we stand out from the crowd, but by staying in the gift business, we are lumped in with them anyway...just looking for some advice!

What is your dream store for the Main Line?

I am thinking something fun that offers uniquely Philadelphia gifts. But, limiting the extraneous stuff to keep costs friendly! Simple and unpretentious.

Something that has Main Line sophistication with out the Main Line prices! :)

I mentioned you on my blog today. I am soo excited that you are opening a store. I cannot wait to become a customer. It is important to have well priced items as well as the more expensive items. It is also nice to carry things for every season and have promotions for good customers.
