Busy Busy

Hi all,
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, having 2 kids and selling and buying a house in the last 3 months have taken their toll!

Baby Pit is doing great. He's absolutely adorable and happy and we are just so in love. He turns 6 months in 2 weeks and I can't tell you how crazy fast this time has gone.
He is wearing size 2 diapers but really should be in a size 3, just trying to get through this last box and we'll move up. He's also solidly in 6-12 month clothes and I estimate he's almost 18 pounds, we'll see at his check up next month. He is eating 4 times a day, 8oz bottles every 4 hours. He's napping 3 times a day, and when he's not sleeping he is a happy happy baby. He is ALMOST sitting up on his own and I think we'll work on it more once we're in the new house.

Little Pit is doing really well too. She is absolutely thriving in school and in her little gymnastics class, and we've had a nice turn around of her previously bad behavior, so the last few weeks have actually been delightful aside from the fact that packing up a house to move is insane and maddening and frustrating and should really only be done by professionals.

Oh yeah, so we sold our house. In 5 days. We bought another one 2 days after we sold ours. We move on Saturday. We can't actually buy our house until the septic system is replaced (the one they have works, but isn't up to code) so we will move into the new house and rent until the work is complete. Then we'll actually buy it and make it our own. I am just excited we can move in. The paint colors need MAJOR work (the dining room is the ugliest brown ever) but I have colors picked out and will wait patiently until we are allowed to make modifications. We close on our current house in a week from today, but apparently selling your house is a lot easier then buying one with septic issues. OY.

That's our life in a nutshell. It will be a crazy few weeks, especially since Little Pit doesn't have school the week before Easter, so I'll be trying to unpack and organize with an almost 3 year old trying to 'help' :)

Here a few pictures to tide you over. More to come!
