Are they serious with that note. I mean, when do you learn how lists work, 1st grade, maybe 2nd? They really find the need to explain how a ranking system works?
It makes me sad for ALL of America that the Social Security Administration would find the need to explain how a list like this works. My head hurts just thinking about how people might not understand this list at first glance.
Oh, and the #25 name for girls, no. Just no.

Spencer is #227, so we're safe on that one! None of the other boy names we like are in the top 25 either. I do like a few of the girls names in the top 25 (Elizabeth, Natalie). I am surprised Grace isn't higher on the list and I guarantee Lucy and Charlotte move up in the next year or two- I know a TON of them!
I love all those girls names too! I have always wanted an Elizabeth and to call her Eliza...but Eliza doesn't sound good with our last name, so we'll go a different route if #2 is a girl (yet to be conceived!). I LOVE the name Spencer, and SYT even LOOKS like a Spencer, it's perfect for him :)
You do realize that "Nevaeh" is HEAVEN spelled backwards, right? It's unbelievably popular with all the hoodrats in DC. It makes my skin crawl.
