Well, besides working all day Saturday, Mr. Pit and I went to see The Blind Side on Sunday afternoon. I LOVED this movie.I laughed out loud, I cried, and I was riveted to the screen the entire time. More than I can say for quite a few movies that we've seen in '09. I know Sandra Bullock annoys the crap out of some people, but she was PERFECT for this role. You totally 'got' who Leigh Anne Touhy was, a tough as nails Mom who is trying to do the right thing for a child that's not her own.
The fact that this is all based on a true story (Michael Oher now plays for the Baltimore Ravens) makes it even better. Even if it had been just a plain screenplay I still would have loved it.
This week is pretty calm for us, thank goodness, and it's just 10 days to Christmas, eek!!!
